Nelson is an accomplished healthcare IT executive with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He champions leveraging technology to enhance patient care while transforming the business of healthcare. In his role as the Vice President of Healthcare, Nelson drives tight alignment across Netgain’s innovative managed IT and cybersecurity solutions to support the mission of ambulatory healthcare organizations and community health centers (CHCs). 

Nelson was previously the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Medicus IT, where he played a pivotal role in propelling the company’s growth and market expansion. His journey began with the founding of PriorityOne Group in 1997, a premier provider of healthcare IT services and solutions. Under his leadership, PriorityOne Group grew to become a recognized leader in the industry, pioneering innovative solutions for healthcare organizations. Nelson’s expertise in building frameworks for growth and scalability, coupled with his passion for developing leadership and team excellence, significantly contributed to the success of both PriorityOne and Medicus IT.
