For over 5 years, Netgain employees have been donating to employee-chosen charities using Casual for a Cause. By donating $25 each quarter to Casual for a Cause, employees can enjoy wearing jeans every Friday. Netgain matches the employee donations to increase proceeds to the charity and encourage employee participation.
This past quarter, Chris Johnson, Netgain Account Manager, chose Central MN Housing Partnerships and raised $910. Johnson was excited to support this charity and states, “Central MN Housing Partnership’s work in rehabilitating homes throughout the area and finding housing opportunities for those in need is having a profound impact to our community. I am proud of my coworkers and Netgain for their support of the good work of this charity through our Casual for a Cause program.” Deanna Hemmesch, Executive Director at CMHP, was very pleased about Netgain’s contribution. “A huge thank you goes out to Netgain and their employees for their generous donation to CMHP! With their help we are able to help increase the affordable housing within our communities,” said Hemmesch.
Earlier this year, Franco Cusipag, Netgain VP of Finance, chose the Alzheimer’s Association – Walk to End Alzheimer’s for his cause to support. Franco, his wife, and two young daughters are dedicated to supporting research for a cure to Alzheimer’s disease. They also participated in the walk. “It was a beautiful morning for a walk and Netgain’s support, along with other fervent supporters, allowed our team to finish 5th in funds raised within the team category. I am thankful to be working in a place where coworkers care about more than themselves, and I am fortunate to have an employer that promotes community involvement and helps worthy causes prosper,” said Cusipag.
In the 5 years that Netgain has been donating through the Casual for a Cause program, Netgain has raised over $20,000 for several different charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Coborn’s Cancer Center, Wounded Warriors, and many others.
Netgain will continue donating through Casual for a Cause and look forward to helping other charities.
