Kevin Lynch
Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Lynch joined the Netgain team in 2016 as CEO, carrying on the values and traditions founded by Scott Warzecha. His energy and leadership style provide a strong and respected presence among both clients and staff. Kevin comes with an extensive business background, most recently as CEO of Volerro Corporation, a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based provider of cloud-based content collaboration services. He was recently Chairman of DocuTAP, the leading software provider in the urgent care space.

Previously, Lynch founded Nistevo Corp, a leading SaaS-based logistics and supply chain software company, where he served as president and CEO nine years before it was acquired by Sterling Commerce, an $800 million software division of AT&T. Nistevo was the first in the enterprise software industry to deploy a single–instance, multi–tenant delivery model combined with subscription service payment. At AT&T, Lynch was SVP of sales for Sterling, where he managed a $700 million revenue budget and a staff of 350 professionals. Sterling Commerce was later purchased by IBM for $1.4 billion.

Prior to Nistevo, Lynch was the co–founder and president of Allaire Corporation, the creator of Cold Fusion, the leading web application development platform. Allaire is now a subsidiary of Adobe Systems.

Lynch holds  undergraduate degrees in engineering and a master’s degree in business administration (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Minnesota.



Matt Riley
VP Healthcare Strategy

With more than 20 years of experience in information technology, Matt Riley brings a specialized knowledge of project design to every project at Netgain. As VP of Strategy and a Partner at Netgain, Matt works alongside clients to understand their technology needs and create a customized solution that delivers lasting results.

His technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills assure clients that their hosting needs are in capable hands.

Since helping start Netgain in 2000, Matt’s work with clients and team members have earned him a reputation of excellence and expertise. Matt oversees the daily operations of the organization while providing personalized, quality service to each client.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University and currently makes his home in St. Cloud. He gives back to the community through his involvement in a variety of causes, including the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce and Granite Ledge Township.



Bill Sorenson
VP Financial Services Strategy

Bill Sorenson joined Netgain in 2018 as VP of Strategy for the financial services market and brings over 25 years of IT expertise with 18 years of cloud computing and cybersecurity leadership. Bill’s focus has been on delivering customer-focused solutions to markets where compliance is a key requirement.

Bill is able to match technology solutions to specific customer and industry requirements and speak to all levels of organizations, from the most technical users to the C-suite. His broad customer experience allows him to add value to the ongoing partnership that Netgain has with its clients.

Bill has six children, is a voracious reader and is a fitness enthusiast with life-long experience in the fitness field and kettlebells.



David O’Keefe
VP of Technology

David O’Keefe is an expert in cloud services for healthcare. As Netgain’s VP of Technology, David O’Keefe works alongside clients to understand their technology needs and create a customized solution that delivers lasting results. His technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills assure clients that their information assets are in a robust, best-practices-driven operational environment.

With 7 years focused on healthcare at Netgain and 14 years of experience ranging from programming to EHR implementation to business intelligence, David has tremendous perspective on the role of technology and cloud in today’s highly regulated environment.

David O’Keefe earned his bachelor’s degrees in both Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and since then, David has gained over 10 years of technology experience.

He contributes to his community by being involved in his local church.



Gail Stanger
VP of Client Services

Gail Stanger, a Netgainer since 2012, has over 20 years of experience in customer service call centers and leadership development. She joined Netgain in October 2012 as the Director of Support Services, accepting a promotion in 2017 to join the executive leadership team. Gail earned her promotion by improving key processes built upon the needs of clients and for building excellent teams to fulfill these needs. She cares deeply about each client and employee, and knows how to make the Netgain experience enjoyable for both clients and employees. As part of her extensive role, Gail is heading a major initiative to proactively detect and remedy errors within technical plants.

In her spare time, Gail volunteers at a local hospice house.



Doug Schick
VP of Technical Operations

Doug Schick joined Netgain in 2017 as VP of Technical Operations and brings over 20 years of technology leadership to the team. He has served in all aspects of technology including software development, customer support, client implementations and technology operations. Doug has a passion for serving customers and a drive for continuous improvement to help organizations operate at their very best.

Doug earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He is currently Chairman of the Board for Amborella House, a non-profit with the mission of healing and restoring hope for adult women who have experienced sexual exploitation and human trafficking.



John (Jack) Bohn
Chief Financial Officer

Jack Bohn is an experienced financial executive with general management and investment management skills. As Chief Financial Officer at Netgain, Jack’s role includes direction, oversight and assistance on general financial management, investor and lender relationships, financial reporting and interpretation and financial alignment across Netgain.

Prior to Netgain, Jack worked as a high-yield trader at CarVal Investors. He was Managing Director for CarVal through 2010, and responsible for the firm’s Latin American and special opportunities businesses. Jack was previously Country Manager for Cargill Financial Services Corporation (CFSC) in Russia, overseeing CFSC’s investments in corporate bonds, government obligations, equities and trade finance. Prior to his assignment in Russia, Jack developed the Value Investment business in Mexico and the real estate securities and single asset real estate investment businesses in the United States.

Since 2011, Jack has been an independent investor, board member, financial consultant and fractional CFO for various businesses. Jack received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and MBA from the Amos Tuck School.



Franco Cusipag
VP of Finance

As VP of Finance at Netgain Technology, Franco Cusipag oversees investing, accounting and cash management-related activities. Working alongside the management team, Franco advocates financially responsible decision-making processes that aim to sustain long-term viability. In addition, Franco prides himself in optimizing resource investment returns for the company.

He earned bachelor degrees in economics and biology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. He specializes in financial budgeting, forecasting and accounting.

Franco makes his home in St. Cloud with his family and gives back to the community through youth mentorship and tutoring.



Pat Cathey

Pat Cathey
Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer, Pat Cathey leverages a proven track record of consistently exceeding business targets while building high-value relationships with clients and business partners. He leads the sales and marketing teams at Netgain, working to establish both long- and short-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.

Pat is a veteran business leader with more than three decades of experience in sales/marketing, consulting and client relations. Prior to Netgain, he served in executive positions at ClearDATA, Fujitsu Americas, Rackspace, Avnet, Arrow Electronics and IBM.

Pat is an avid fly fisherman, golfer, hiker and military history buff. He is also an active traveler and enjoys sampling the regional whiskeys and craft brews from wherever he visits.



Bill Hafdal
VP of Healthcare Sales

Bill Hafdal is trusted voice in healthcare IT, with over 30 years of experience guiding clinics through their technology roadmaps. In roles ranging from Service Delivery to Sales, Bill has experience across the full spectrum of IT decision-making for clinics large and small.

As Netgain’s VP of Healthcare Sales, Bill continues a 14-year history with the Netgain team, first as an outside partner, and since 2012 as a member of the leadership team. Bill’s passion is in working with clinics, hospitals and fellow vendors in the healthcare space to identify their challenges and build solutions from the Netgain toolkit. Bill also leads Netgain in many of its industry partnerships, which are leveraged to offer clients more-complete solutions.

When he’s not out meeting with clients or partners, Bill can often be found on the golf course or racquetball court – though truthfully, those are places he’s likely meeting with clients, too. Bill is proud to have developed lasting friendships with many clients over his years in the industry.



Kris Tufto
VP of Financial Services Sales

Kris Tufto joined the Netgain team in 2017 as VP of Financial Services Sales. He has entrepreneurial experience and expertise in early-stage technology companies, with a history of developing results-driven, integrated revenue growth investment plans across sales and marketing platforms.

Kris is responsible for Netgain’s short and long-term revenue expansion in the financial services vertical, including developing strategic direction to achieve revenue goals in addition to identifying and pursuing beneficial opportunities, while also managing the Sales and Account Management teams.

Kris grew up in western North Dakota and graduated from NDSU with a degree in Electrical Engineering. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, reading and traveling, having been everywhere in the world except the Middle East and Africa.
